Louis Leal, Agent

Louis spent the last 14 years building and operating one of LA’s top brokerages, acting as a founding partner and growing the team from one employee to over 80. Leveraging his versatile expertise and penchant for hard work, he led the group to unimaginable heights, capturing roughly 25% of the city’s market share in their footprint and getting ranked the #2 real estate team in the nation by The Wall Street Journal.

Through that journey, Louis discovered that working directly with real estate clients—and offering tailored guidance aimed at driving specific long-term wealth-building objectives—is where he’s most fulfilled. Now that he’s a partner at the Tiffany Rochelle Group at Compass, Louis is free to place the majority of his focus on providing one-on-one real estate service. Home buyers and sellers with a wide range of goals would be hard-pressed to find a more conscientious advocate with a proven ability to deliver.

Raised in Cambridge, MA by a family of contractors and craftsmen, Louis Leal began learning about homes at a very young age, going on to make his first real estate investment at the age of 19—and, as a result, getting an immersion course of sorts in the nuances of property management. Innately entrepreneurial, he was eager to master the financial aspect of business, so he subsequently earned degrees in Economics and Finance at UMass Boston. Armed with the experience he gained working at Boston’s premier comprehensive financial planning firm—not to mention, a genuine passion for architecture and building things—Louis quickly realized that real estate was a logical career path.

Given his affinity for the outdoors and action sports, he couldn’t resist the magnetic allure of Southern California. So in 1998, he made the move to Venice, purchasing a home in the beloved city he now calls home together with his wife and son. Outside of work, Louis enjoys hiking, woodworking, spending time with his family, and meeting the many inspiring creatives who he believes make LA’s Westside the best place in the world to live.
